General Information
ARTWORK
All catalog pricing is based upon customer supplying color-separated, production-ready art. All composition and artwork accomplished at our factory will be billed at cost upon notification.
Order information and the actual artwork used with the order is kept on file at our factory. Customer supplied artwork can be returned if specified on the purchase order.
PRODUCTION
Production Time:
Normal production time is 8-12 working days after receipt of order or approval of proof.
Please contact us anytime special assistance or rush service is needed. The JP Family will make every effort to meet your special event requirements without any rush charge.
Over-Runs and Under-Runs:
We attempt to ship exact quantities ordered whenever possible. However, we reserve the right to overship or undership up to 5% (on custom items and screenprinted items, up to 10%) and invoice accordingly. If exact quantity is required, add a $24.00 (G) charge. Factory cannot be held to exact quantity shipments on custom items.
Cancellations:
All orders are considered firm and cannot be cancelled without written authorization from the factory. Orders cannot be cancelled if merchandise has already been made or imprinted prior to receipt of cancellation notice. The cost of dies and screens will be billed if produced.
Less Than Minimum:
Contact your JP Family customer service representative for specific product availability and pricing.
Merchandise Returns:
Returns accepted only with written authorization from the factory. Any claims must be presented in writing within 30 days of shipment.
SHIPPING
Shipping Methods:
All merchandise is shipped F.O.B. our factory via the best available route, taking into consideration the speed of delivery and cost. Shipments under 500 lbs. are normally made via United Parecel Service. Shipments of 500 lbs. or more are shipped via truck prepaid unless otherwise specified.
If routing or carrier is not specified, we cannot be held responsible for any extra charges involved if method selected by factory is not the cheapest. We can only assure date of shipment, but cannot be held responsible for arrival date.
Freight Claims:
Since we are not listed as the shipper, we cannot file claims for merchandise lost or damaged in transit. Only the distributor (shipper) can file the claim. All merchandise should be inspected upon arrival. If damage is found, contact carrier immediately for inspection. We will gladly supply copies of documents and assist with your claim wherever possible.
UPS Claims:
We will provide prompt assistance on all claims for lost or damaged merchandise.
Split Destination Shipments:
For each shipment after the first shipped the same day add $9.00 (G) per shipment. Add $11.25 (G) per shipment when shipped on different days.
All future shipments must be made within 6 months from date of original order. The complete order is billed at the time of the first shipment.
Weights:
All catalog packaging and weight specifications are approximate and subject to change.
COD Shipments:
Add $13.00 (G) handling charge per order.
Postal Shipments/Foreign Shipments:
For Parcel Post, Express Mail, Priority Mail or Foreign Shipments, add $25.00 (G) for special handling.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Confirmation of Orders:
All orders and imprint copy must be in writing. Verbal orders will not be processed for production until confirmed.
Intermediate Quantities:
Will be billed at lower quantity unit costs.
Material Colors:
Material colors in the catalog do not represent actual colors. If you are unsure of the color, contact a customer service representative for a swatch to be sent.
Insertions:
For small items such as cards or letters, when submitted by customer, add $.20 (E) per insertion.

Effective Date of Catalog:
Prices in this catalog are effective as of April 1, 2008, and supersede all previous catalogs and price lists. All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
