HOTSTAMPING
Best suited to a limited copy area, this is our most popular and economical method of decorating. Hotstamping in more than one color is NOT recommended.
Copy size:
Unless otherwise specified, all catalog prices include an imprint area up to 6 square inches. If additional copy area is required, add $.10 (G) per item for each additional 6 square inches.
Hotstamping Dies:
$45.00 (G) minimum for dies up to 6 square inches. $50.00 (G) for dies 6-12 square inches. $60.00 (G) for dies 12-20 square inches.
Change of Copy:
$20.00 (G) set-up charge for each change, plus cost of additional die(s).
Second Position Imprint:
For second position imprint, add $20.00 (G) set-up charge plus $.15 (G) per item running charge plus cost of additional die(s).
Proofs:
- Paper Proof $12.00 (G)
- Swatch Proof $15.00 (G)
- Product Proof $20.00 (G)
Cost of swatch or product proof is in addition to dies or artwork if required.
Colors:
The following colors are normally available at no extra charge: Gold, Silver, Black, Light Blue, Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Red, Green, Brown, Orange , White, Burgundy , Teal or Purple. EXACT COLOR MATCHING NOT AVAILABLE.
SCREEN PRINTING
Best suited for imprinting of multiple colors OR large imprint areas. Screen printing is available on most items in addition to those specifically noted in this catalog. Please contact factory for minimums and prompt quotations.

Change of Imprint Color:
$25.00 (G) per color
Change of Copy:
New screen charge as per catalog.
Screens, Artwork and Repeat Orders:
Although artwork is kept on file, exact repeat orders are subject to screen charges of $30.00 (G) per color.
Proofs:
- Paper Proof $12.00 (G) per color
- Swatch Proof $30.00 (G) per color
- Product Proof $40.00 (G) per color plus cost of item in minimum quantity. Cost of screens must be added to above prices.
DEBOSSING
This method of imprinting debosses (depresses) your copy into the surface of the vinyl.
Debossing Dies:

ENTRAPMENT OR OVERLAY
This manufacturing process utilizes a clear vinyl pocket to display printed material. An overlay is sealed on three sides, leaving an opening at the top to insert printed material. An entrapment allows the printed material to be sealed in or entrapped on all four sides .
Guidelines for your printed material:
- Supply 70-100 lb. coated text stock
- Supply 10-15 % more inserts than products ordered to ensure adequate supply
- Contact factory in advance for proper sizing
ARTWORK
When sending your artwork on a disk or via e-mail, the following guidelines will help.
Accepted Programs:
- Adobe® Illustrator®
- CorelDRAW®
Acceptable Media Formats:
Color Information:
- Use the Pantone® color matching system
Requirements for Electronic Media:
- The JP Family is PC compatible.
- Save your documents and files in a PC based version of one of the accepted programs noted above.
- Include a copy of all screen and printer fonts used.
- Disk must contain all EPS files used in your documents to correctly output to film.
- Files MUST be converted to curves or outlines.
- It is important that a printed color proof and printed color separations, along with any other special instructions accompany the disk. This will ensure all the correct information is contained on the disk.
The following formats are NOT ACCEPTABLE: jpeg, bitmap, TIFF, and dat.

When sending your disk or e-mail, please provide the following information:
- The purchase order number.
- The distributor name
- Your customer service person's name
- The program and version the file was created in.
- A brief description of the artwork.
- Send a hard copy.
